Bring Teen Mental Health Support
to Your School.

Buy Yourself Flowers chapters are peer-led hubs for honest, stigma-free mental health conversations.

A Buy Yourself Flowers chapter is a school- or community-based team of teens committed to bringing mental health awareness, peer support, and BYF programming to their local community on an ongoing basis.

Chapters operate under BYF's 501(c)(3) status, receive a full Chapter Leader Playbook, and have direct access to BYF's leadership team for mentorship and support.

We're growing — and we want your school to be next.

Nikhil Agarwal, Mountain View HS CA Chapter

Hi! My name is Nikhil Agarwal. I’m 15 years old and I live in Mountain View, California. have a large passion for music creation and listening. I’m in a few bands and love practicing and working on new songs. I am a strong advocate for teen and student mental health and have participated in many mental health events and programs, like our schools’ unity walk for mental health and suicide prevention as well as being a part of the Peer Counselors program where I learned the basics of humanistic therapy from on site psychologists in the aims of putting it into practice. Both my love of music and passion for the advocation of student mental health rights and visibility make me who I am.

Cynthia Deng,  Pleasanton CA Chapter

Hi, my name is Cynthia Deng, and I’m a rising junior in high school. I’m thrilled to be starting a chapter of Buy Yourself Flowers in Pleasanton! Having experienced my own mental health challenges and witnessed many friends and loved ones navigate similar struggles, I understand how important support and understanding can be. My goal in launching this chapter is to help break the stigma around mental health in our community by creating a safe space for open conversations. Through BYF, I hope to lead meaningful initiatives and events that promote awareness, connection, and support for everyone.

Vinayak Pachhapur, Gurugram, India Chapter

As a student, I've seen how many young people experience stress, anxiety, and other mental health challenges without always knowing where to turn for support. I'm working with Buy Yourself Flowers to help create a more open, supportive, and stigma-free environment where students can access resources and feel comfortable seeking help.

The Gurugram BYF Chapter supports students by creating accessible, student-led opportunities for mental health awareness, connection, and wellbeing. Through workshops, campaigns, and community initiatives, we aim to reduce stigma and help students build a healthier, more supportive school environment.

Zuhair Ash, Orlando FL Chapter (Cofounder)

Hey, my name is Zuhair. I’m 17 and live in Orlando. This year I’ll be heading into my senior year and a large reason I want to work with Buy Yourself Flowers is due to the fact that I’ve seen firsthand the stigma with mental health. For the first two years of high school I struggled heavily with my own mental health issues and was always too worried about being judged to speak out. I’d never want someone to fall into that same pain that I did of feeling like their environment isn’t a safe place to talk about abuse, burnout, or even just a bad day. My main goal is to try and make mental health help is something that anyone can have at the tip of their fingers and not feel shame when they do. In the coming months the Orlando Chapter hopes to launch workshops, fundraisers, and community events in regards to teen mental health.

Jahir Sandoval, South Bay CA Chapter

Hey! My name is Jahir Sandoval, and I am a rising senior at Bellarmine College Preparatory, an all-boys Jesuit high school in San Jose, California. I chose to partner with BYF because I have witnessed a significant lack of support and open dialogue surrounding men's mental health. I believe that bringing BYF's mission into an all-male school environment can help challenge harmful stigmas, foster meaningful conversations, and encourage young men to seek the support they need without fear of judgment.

Rameez, Orlando FL Chapter (Cofounder)

Hello, my name is Rameez, and I’m a 17 year old rising senior in Orlando, Florida. I joined Buy
Yourself Flowers because I've seen how prevalent mental health struggles are and how they
can drastically affect overall well-being. For many teenagers our age, it's hard to speak up and
get necessary help without having the fear of being judged, and so that’s why I’m taking part in
this. Overall, I'm really looking forward to growing the Orlando chapter and implementing
fundraisers and workshops to encourage conversation about mental health and make it much
more accessible to all.
